Recreating literary works on small screen

In a one-of-its-kind initiative, Vijay TV is coming up with an innovative program where popular literary works and fiction writings of authors will be brought to screen. The seven part series titled Vijay Chithiram will have stories belonging to different genres. Bavamma, Irandam Aatam, Mari, Thavalaik Kannan, Ganesh-Vasanth, Antha Oru Nimidam, Panchapakesan Devasagayam will be the seven short films which will be telecast on a regular basis. Interestingly, the promo of the show has been airing for a while and has generated curiosity among small screen viewers. Ganesh-Vasanth is the most awaited among all as they are the popular characters that play detectives in ace writer Sujath’'s novel of the same name.
