WhatsApp has released its new v2.12.241 beta to try out five new user-friendly features for Android users. The social media messaging app has improved its connectivity and its v2.12.241 beta also comes with bug fixes.

The new version also offers customised message settings and is overloaded with features, which will make you fall in love with it! WhatsApp v2.12.241 beta allows you to activate new message popup functionality. Activating message popups on your Android handset, might just help you save over time and help you reply instantly. In fact, you don’t need to specially open the app on the arrival of any new WhatsApp message.

Android users will also be allowed to set different ringtones for individual chats. Already available on iPhone and Windows Phone, the Mute Chat feature will soon be available on Android handsets. Wish to ignore someone? Just swipe the status of the message as ‘unread’.
