Sooraj and Athiya get 'posey' at 'Hero' promotional event

 

Mumbai: Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty have been out and about the city promoting their upcoming romantic/action flick ‘Hero’. On Monday, the young stars met up with the media for one-on-one interactions. 

 

There it was revealed that Salman Khan, who has produced this film under his banner ‘Salman Khan Films’ was very involved in its creative processes. On the request of director Nikhil Advani, the actor turned producer edited out 30-minutes of the film that he felt was unnecessary. 

 

While the director spoke about the techinacalities of the film, his leading stars spoke a little about matters close to their hearts. Sooraj Pancholi, who hit the headlines two years ago when he was arrested for his involvement in girlfriend Jiah Khan's death, said he still misses her a lot and has no qualms if his name is associated with her.

 

"My name will always be associated with her and I have no guilt for that. I am happy that something at least stays with me. I am sad that she ended her life. But at least her name is with me and I have no problems with it," Sooraj told PTI.

 

In this film, Sooraj will be seen playing the role of a gangster’s son with kidnaps Athiya. However, somewhere along their journey, the two fall in love and that’s when their problems start. The film is all set to hit screens nationwide on 11 September.
