EVKS Elangovan gets anticipatory bail

Bail granted to Elangovan on the condition that he should stay in Madurai

ChennaiThe Madras high court has granted anticipatory bail to TNCC president E. V. K. S. Elangovan, who apprehended arrest  in connection with a complaint lodged by a former woman employee of TNCC Charitable Trust, alleging that he had assaulted her since she asked details of some accounts of the trust.
 
Justice S. Vaidyanathan granted anticipatory bail to Elangovan on the condition that he should stay in Madurai and report before the Thallakulam police station at 10.30 am daily for 15 days until further orders.
 
The judge also granted anticipatory bail to G Narayanan, administrative officer of the trust, on the similar conditions.
