Body of woman found in drain with tied arms, legs

Muzaffarnagar: The body of a woman was found with her arms and legs tied in a drain in Rohana village under Kotwali police station, police said.

The body, aged around 27 years, was found last evening they said, adding that it had injury marks too.

The identity of the deceased could not be established. It is being suspected that the woman was raped and her body thrown in the drain after murdering her.

The body has been sent for postmortem, they said, adding that an investigation is on in this connection.
