No Web space for APPA
TS police academy uses the domain ID of AP academy

Vijayawada: Though the Andhra Pradesh Police Academy and Telangana State Police Academy are continuing on the same campus at Hyderabad, the Telangana State Police Academy has owned the Web space of APPA leaving no mention of AP’s academy or its existence.
The Telangana State Police Academy is quick to have its own website displaying the academy's features and other details regarding staff, facilities, courses and publications. However, a Telangana police aspirant needs to enter APPA website address (appa.gov.in) to access the information of Telangana State Police Academy. An aspirant who needs to get information regarding AP Police Academy fi-nds nothing on Internet except a crowd sourced Wikipedia page.
Post bifurcation, the Raja Bahadur Venkat Rama Reddy (R.B.V.R.R) Andhra Pradesh Police Academy, Hyderabad (formerly Andhra Pra-desh Police Academy) is renamed as Raja Bahadur Venkat Rama Reddy (RBVRR) Telangana State Police Academy, Hyderabad in February 2015, according to a GO by the Telangana government.
Post bifurcation, all the websites of Andhra Pradesh departments started featuring the respective new websites of Telangana government so that people are aware of the new websites. However, the situation with the police academy website is contrary where Andhra Pradesh Police Acade-my is completely ignored.
It may be worth mentioning that there is lot of anticipation among youth of AP on vacancies in the state police department and the recent announcement by home minister on filling 7,000 posts in the state has only left aspirants curious.
