Oyo Rooms to break even in three years

Business in cities like Delhi, Gurgaon are already running in profit

Hyderabad: App-based hotel aggregator Oyo Rooms expects to achieve profitability in the next three years, said a company official here on Thursday. Speaking to the reporters, Oyo Rooms chief growth officer Kavikrut said, “We have been growing at 100 per cent growth rate MoM and with this pace, we are likely to be profitable in three years.”
 
However, the business in cities like Delhi, Gurgaon are already running in profit, he added. The hotel aggregartor has partnered with over 2,000 hotels in 102 cities to turn 20,000 rooms into Oyo certified rooms with standardised services. In Hyderabad, the company plans to scale up the network up to 5,000 rooms by partnering with over 500  hotels in the next six months. Currently, the company has over 1,162 rooms in 134 hotels.
