Deepika Padukone to come together with Rajinikanth again in 'Robot' sequel

Mumbai: While Deepika Padukone and Rajinikanth’s ‘Kochadaiiyaan’ proved to be a recipe for disaster, we hear the actress may be reuniting with the living legend in yet another film.
The actress has been reportedly signed for the sequel of the blockbuster ‘Robot’ opposite superstar Rajinikanth. The film will be directed Shankar.
The first which featured Aishwarya Rai Bachchan manage to beat Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘My Name is Khan’ and Salman Khan’s ‘Dabangg’ during the time of its release. The film also held the record for the highest grossing south Indian film of all time, till that record was broken by SS Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali’ a couple of weeks ago.
There were numerous reports suggesting the actress had been signed opposite Hrithik Roshan for a YRF film, which was to be directed by ‘Dhoom 3’ director Vijay Krishna Acharya, however the actress turned down the offer.
The actress is currently gearing up for the release of 'Tamasha' and is also working on Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Bajirao Mastani'.
