Sonakshi Sinha tweets an apology to Sarvjeet, the accused in Jasleen Kaur case
She expressed her discontent over the way things have unfolded in this case
Mumbai: During the past one week, social media has been abuzz with controversy surrounding the Jasleen Kaur case. There was a furore over Jasleen's post where she claimed that she had been molested and thereafter threatened by Sarvjeet Singh. Several people appreciated Jasleen was bringing the issue up, including Sonakshi Sinha.
The actress had then posted, "Well done Jasleen! Hope this serves as a warning to all the creeps and encouragement to every girl to take action!"
However tables turned when Sarvjeet Singh came forth with his version of the events. Sonakshi expressed her discontent over the way things have unfolded in this case and apologised to Sarvjeet. She said-
Being a girl, gave the benefit of doubt to Jasleen, like many others! And like many others am embarrassed n let down! Apologies to the guy.
