Bengaluru: Two coaches and an engine of Prashanthi Express train derailed at the city railway station on Friday afternoon. No one was injured.

Prashanthi Express, which runs between Bengaluru and Bhubaneswar, was arriving at Platform Number 3 around 12.30 pm when the two coaches and the engine derailed.

Railway Police and security personnel rushed to the platform and helped the passengers out of the train.

“As it was nearing the station, the train was running slow, and no casualties were reported,” said a senior Railway Police officer.
