Government to take care of orphanage, says Nayini Narasimha Reddy
Mr Reddy was in Warangal to attend the birthday celebrations of orphans
Warangal: Assuring that he will make sure the state government will take complete care of running of the Mallikamba Manovikasa Kendra in Balasamudram, home minister Nayini Narasimha Reddy announced a fund of Rs 1 lakh from his personal account. Mr Reddy was in Warangal to attend the birthday celebrations of orphans at the home for mentally challenged. He interacted with the inmates of the orphanage and said that he was happy to meet the children and serving these children was akin to serving God.
Advisory board member of the home, Jyothi Reddy said that she herself is an orphan and so is celebrating her birthday with all these orphans. Noted ENT surgeon Dr Madisetti Sudeep, who offered free medical service once in a month for the inmates of the home was moved to see the condition of the children and the home. With the Kendra administrators unable to further develop it, he converted an open space adjacent to the home into a beautiful sensory park with beautiful lawns and playing instruments.
Mr Narasimha Reddy appreciated the gesture of Dr Sudeep. Mallikamba Manovikasa Kendra houses over 400 mentally and physically challenged children at its premises at Balasamudram.
