Tamil Nadu: Cockroach foud in milk packet

Coimbatore: A cockroach found in Aavin milk packet triggered shock and surprise among the consumers in the city.

A customer bought a half litre pack of milk from a vendor of Aavin, a government outlet, at the shop here evening and surprised to find something floating in the milk, Police said on Sunday.

The milk packet was dated August 28 and the customer immediately lodged complaint with the Aavin Management.

Inquiry was on, police said, even as Aavin authorities were not available for comments.
