Mumbai: S S Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali’ managed to break records with its box office collection this year. It took the director nearly two years to create his magnum opus, with some of the most stunning VFX making this film a visual treat for the audience.

But what went into making those special effects seem so real? Visual effects company Makuta visuals has released a video breaking down some of the best scenes from the film.

'Baahubali' is a heavy visual effects production and it perfectly complemented the film's theatrical and storytelling experience. The combination of VFX and live shoot is so smooth that one would be forced to believe that such a place and people do exist in the real world.

In the past decade Rajamouli has churned out some of the biggest hits from South India and looking over his filmography, his love affair with VFX is unmissable. 'Baahubali' may be the most expensive movie ever made in India, but Rajamouli has made a movie as big as a Hollywood blockbuster in a fraction of Hollywood’s budgets.
