Rajamouli is a freind in need: Mullapudi Vara
He said that he had worked on the script for nearly one-and-a-half years
Mullapudi Vara, son of popular writer late Mullapudi Venkataramana, is coming up with his film Kundanapu Bomma. On the occasion of the film’s music release on Sunday evening in Hyderabad, Vara said that music director Keeravani, his wife Valli and director Rajamouli had helped him a lot.
“These three people helped me when I was facing some problems. Today I stand in front of you because of their help, I will never forget them,” said Vara.
He said that he had worked on the script for nearly one-and-a-half years. Rajamouli meanwhile said that he and Vara had worked together with Raghavendra Rao, more than 17 years back.
“Director Raghavendra Rao was the advisor to the government at that time and Chandrasekhar and I helped him to make some awareness videos. At that time Raghavendra Rao asked us to learn the techniques from Vara. We did not know who Vara was… later we came to know that Vara was none other than Mullapudi Venkatarama’s son. We became good friends from then onwards,” said Rajamouli.
