Centre to spread guru’s messages

The minister said guru’s vision offered solutions to several problems

Thiruvananthapuram: Union minister of State for culture Mahesh Sharma on Sunday said his ministry will take steps to promote the visions of Sree Narayana Guru in the country and outside. Speaking after inaugurating Sree Narayana Guru jayanti celebrations at Chempazhanthy gurukulam, Dr Sharma said he will talk to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and decide on what needs to be done.

Pointing out that the messages of guru were aimed at the uplift of society and the he advocated for the spread of education, the minister said guru’s vision offered solutions to several problems the world faced today and hence should not be confined to Kerala. He, however, doubted, whether guru’s visions have got its due importance or not.
