Jazbaa's 'green' trailer to be colour-corrected

The revised trailer will release across all platforms this week

Mumbai: If you watched the trailer of ‘Jazbaa’, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s comeback film, you certainly wouldn’t have missed the overpowering green filter, which made it difficult to watch the trailer.

Defending his trailer, director Sanjay Gupta said on Twitter, “It’s not about the green or yellow I try and create a world around each of my films that has a certain hue. Mine are films n not documentaries. How many film makers have signature styles? (In India atleast). Kaante, Musafir, Zinda, Shootout at Wadala, all my films have a feel that is mine and mine alone. Why would I abandon it in Jazbaa?”

According to media reports, the director has decided to revise the colour scheme of the film after receiving harsh criticism. The corrected version of the trailer is expected to go up this week.

The director also posted on Twitter, “We have worked very hard on the colour grading and I urge you to see it on the large screen for its true impact. Most of us are watching on our mobiles, laptops or desktops and the true impact of the meticulous sound design is lost.”

The trailer that was released on digital platforms was meant for theatres, and therefore Sanjay Gupta has decided to revise the colour scheme of the trailer to make it suitable for viewing across all platforms.
