YSR Congress to knock SHRC against ASP Sidha Reddy

Rajahmundry: YSR Congress central co-mmittee member Jakka-mpudi Vijaya Lakshmi to approach State Human Rights Commission against ASP Sidha Reddy for making unsavoury remarks against her when she visited the Prakash Nagar police station during the state-wide bandh call given by their party.

 

Speaking to newsmen here on Monday, she alleged that the ASP without even having a concern towards her being a woman passed insulting remarks and said that she would file a private case against him. 

 

She also said that she would lodge a case against him in women police station also.

 

She alleged that when YSRC leaders and supporters were taking up stir in a peaceful manner, the police over-reacted and arrested the party supporters and her two sons.
