Seeman will be seen as a police officer for the fourth time
Donning khaki is a preferred choice for many actors. Director-turned-actor and politician Seeman is no different. Seeman will be seen as a police officer for the fourth time in his upcoming movie Mundhirikaadu.
Directed by Kalanjium, the film has Pugazh, the son of senior Indian Communist party leader C Mahendran making his debut as the lead protagonist with Subhapriya playing his romantic co-star. Says Kalanjium, “The movie is set against the backdrop of cashew nut plantations and the people who work there. The workers suffer appalling conditions with low wages. I have projected their life in a realistic manner.” There’s a beautiful romance set against this backdrop, with the entire village opposing them, he adds.
“How Seeman, who essays an upright cop Anbarasan, tries to unite the lovers forms the rest the movie,” he adds. 17-year-old AK Priyan, a protégé from AR Rahman’s school, debuts as the music composer.
