Hyderabad: Telangana government on Thursday said the launch of T-Hub, an initiative to promote startups and innovators, has been postponed from September 7 due to the non-availability of Ratan Tata.

A senior government official had earlier said that Tata Sons Chairman Emeritus Ratan Tata will inaugurate the country's largest technology incubator centre 'T-Hub' here on September 7.

A press release from T-Hub today said, "We regret to inform you that the launch date has been postponed from September 7, 2015, as there was an unexpected change in the schedule of our chief guest, Mr Ratan Tata. As soon as we have clarity on the revised launch date, we will let you know."

Tata Capital has committed to investing a sizable sum in the corpus earmarked for the Telangana state government-run startup incubator, T-Hub, the official had said earlier.
