Andhra University students to be trained by Birla Sun Life
They also extend their assistance to students in finding employment
Visakhapatnam: Andhra University entered into a memorandum of understanding with the Birla Sun Life and the Stratadigm organisations on Wednesday.
As part of the MoU, the organisations foster the Andhra University’s and its affiliated colleges’ students with financial literacy and entrepreneurial skills and provides skill development based services. They also extend their assistance to students in finding employment.
Speaking on this occasion, Andhra University Vice-Chancellor Prof. G.S.N. Raju said working with elite institutions like Birla Sun Life is a good move for the University and said they are trying to stand out of the flock by empowering the students with the required skill-set to make them entrepreneurs in the future.
Birla Sun Life Head - Investor Education & Distribution Development, K.S. Rao said that they work towards adding value to the students’ degrees.
Stratadigm CEO Thyagarajan Balasubra-manian said the present government is focusing more on improving the skill-set of the students. AU Registrar V. Umamaheswara Rao and others were present.
