Omar Abdullah said the government can ask him what he was up to
Srinagar: Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Friday kicked up a political storm, accusing the PDP-BJP coalition government of "brazenly" spying on him.
"Mufti Govt brazenly spying on me. A journalist interviewing me for a national daily just got stopped right outside my gate by CID person," he tweeted.

Omar said his successor, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, can pick up the telephone and ask him instead of "accosting" people outside his residence.
"Dear Mufti Sb, if you and your apparatchiks want to know what I'm up to pick up the phone and ask me. Please don't accost people outside my gate!" he wrote.
