Three people get 20 years in jail for raping Japanese student

Jaipur: A court on Friday sentenced three men to 20 years in prison for raping a Japanese student who was sightseeing in Jaipur.

Prosecutors say the 20-year-old Japanese had met the men in Jaipur, when they offered to act as her tour guides in February.

They took the woman to a farming village outside the city, raped her on a roadside and fled. Villagers heard the woman crying and helped her contact police.
