Tri-services south commanders meet
The conference is conducted at the headquarters of all the three Services in the Southern Region

Visakhapatnam: Eastern Naval Command (ENC) headquarters, here hosted the Tri-Service (Southern Theatre) Commanders’ Conference on Thursday. Western Naval Command, commander in chief, Vice-Admiral S.P.S. Cheema, Southern Command, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Lieutenant General Ashok Singh, Andaman & Nicobar Command commander in chief Vice-Admiral Pradip Kumar Chatterjee, Southern Naval Command, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Vice Admiral Sunil Lanba, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief South Western Air Command, Air Marshal R.K. Dhir, and Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Air Command, Air Marshal Jasbir Walia, attended the conference chaired by ENC, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Vice-Admiral Satish Soni, at Swarna Jyoti Auditorium, Naval Base, Visakhapatnam.
The conference is conducted at the headquarters of all the three Services in the Southern Region in rotation and was last held at Trivandrum under the aegis of Southern Air Command. The heads of the Commands had undertaken meaningful discussions and arrived at mutually agreeable solutions to enhance inter-operability and synergy between the three services.
During the conference, the seven Commanders-in-Chief reviewed the progress made on various operational and logistic issues since the last meeting and on trilateral interaction and coordination amongst the three Services.
Discussions on various aspects of common infrastructural and joint training facilities for enhancing the professional skills of the Service personnel to promote jointmanship were also discussed during the day long conference.
