Mumbai: The BCCI, on Friday, moved Supreme Court for the clarification on N Srinivasan’s participation in the board meetings.

The Tamil Nadu strongman gatecrashed the board’s Working Committee meeting in Kolkata last week which forced president Jagmohan Dalmiya to adjourn the session.

A BCCI source had told Deccan Chronicle during the period that a legal route was in the pipeline to seek clarity on Srinivasan’s eligibility to attend such summits.

The board had to postpone the Working Committee meet due to the trouble created by the former chief.

The case is likely to be heard next week.

Srinivasan – currently the ICC chairman – was shown the door by the apex court for smooth investigation into the spot-fixing case that broke out during IPL 2013, during his regime. The order barred him from participating in BCCI affairs.
