Ma Pa Ka Anand refused to kiss Srushti Dange

We have heard of heroines refusing to engage in lip-locks or wear skimpy clothes for movie scenes. Now we have an upcoming hero Ma Pa Ka Anand who has refused to perform a kissing scene in his forthcoming movie Navarasa Thilagam! Anand, the popular anchor-turned-actor turns independent hero with the film, which is directed by Kamran. Pretty actress Srushti Dange is paired opposite to him.
Anand plays Moorthy, a pompous real estate mediator who wants overnight success, to strike big with a single deal, while Srushti portrays a medical student. “The film will be full of fun and frolic with a lot of humour,” director Kamran says.
For the climax sequence, when the lovers unite after being through several difficult predicaments, the director wanted to portray it in an emotional manner. “To convert the intensity of the situation, I had a scene where Anand would hug and kiss Srushti who has just recovered from a health problem. Though Srushti did not have any qualms about doing the scene, it was Anand who in the last moment ditched the act. We had to settle for a suggestive shot later,” Kamran explains.
