Tata Sky+ now allows you to watch recordings on your phone

Tata Sky has launched a new service transfer set-top-box called Tata Sky + Transfer. The Tata Sky + Transfer is a satellite set-top-box with a built-in digital video recorder (DVR) and hard drive storage for recording and play/pause live television shows.

The new STB is now Wi-Fi-enabled and supports 500GB of internal storage. The STB can record your favorite TV shows and store them on the STB for watching it later as well as enables you to transfer, or stream, the content wirelessly to your smartphone or tablet. The STB and app are presently compatible with Android and iOS. The technology allows you to record and transfer your favorite TV shows to your phone or tablet, and you can view it anytime and anywhere.

The Tata Sky + Transfer is priced at Rs 9,300, including the Wi-Fi dongle, and is aimed towards select tier-II cities and metros.
