Marketing agency begs Apple to name iPhone 6S as iPhone 7
Apple is expected to launch iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus on September 9
A marketing firm is urging Apple to call its next generation iPhone, the iPhone 7 instead of iPhone 6S. The company has put forward such a demand owing to its own name ‘6S Marketing’.

The firm has gone all out hiring hoarding space and putting up banners to convince Apple to reconsider the name of its next iPhone.

It even parked a truck with the same billboard, outside the Apple store.

6S Marketing also wrote an open letter addressed to Apple saying “Dear Apple, I wanted to start off by saying we’re big fans — our office houses a bunch of longtime iPhone users. We’re devoted iMessagers and steadfast Siri supporters. So, we’re super excited about the upcoming launch of your next iPhone, and have heard the rumors that you’re calling it the “iPhone 6S.” We would like to urge you to reconsider…”
On September 9, Apple is holding its annual launch event and it is expected to launch the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus, and not the iPhone 7.
The iPhone 6S is rumoured to sport a high-end 12MP sensor, and possibly a larger FaceTime camera with 5MP sensor in the front. The front facing camera is also rumoured to feature a software based flash, the ability to shoot slow motion and panorama shot. The next generation iPhone are also speculated to feature the Force Touch technology, which essentially is a customisable feature that allows a user to determine the pressure needed to register a click. The Force Touch can also tell if a user is clicking with a thumb or another finger and auto-adjust to sensitivity level. Presently, the latest MacBook and the Apple Watch feature the Force Touch.
