No water supply on September 8 in Hyderabad
Water Board has advised consumers to store water on September 6
Hyderabad: To attend to leakages on the 1200/1000mm diameter pipeline from Khanapur to Attapur Ring Road, the Water Board has proposed a 24-hour water supply shutdown from 6 am on September 8. Many areas will not get water during this period.
The affected areas are: Mehdipatnam, Bhojagutta, Muradnagar, Karwan, Jyothinagar, Omnagar, Sabzimandi, Padmanabhanagar, parts of Allabanda, Kakatiyanagar and Vijayanagar Colony, Old Mallepally area, Golconda, Bapunagar and Ambedkarnagar.
Following junction work on the 1000-mm diameter pipeline to Banjara Hills from the Lingampally reservoir, there will be no water supply in the following areas: Banjara Hills, Jubillee Hills, Venkatagiri, Thattikhana, Anandnagar Colony, Venkatramana Colony,
Premnagar, Somajiguda, BS Maktha, MS Maktha, Methodist Colony, Umanagar, Kundanbagh, Panjagutta, Errummanzil, SR Nagar, Balkampet, Sanathnagar, Bapunagar, Fathenagar, Ameerpet, Yellareddyguda, Yousufguda, Erragadda, Vengalraonagar, Kalyannagar, Madhuranagar, Srinagar Colony, Kamalapuri Colony, Jawaharnagar, part of Borabanda and Siddharthnagar. The Water Board has advised consumers in these localities to to store water on September 6.
