Broke 50 Cent builds Africa Pad
Amid bankruptcy proceedings in the US, rapper reveals a big, new house in Africa
50 Cent, who is embroiled in bankruptcy proceedings in the States, revealed that he was building a new house somewhere in Africa.
“My crib is almost finished in Africa,” he wrote on Instagram, with a video showing the home’s exterior.
“I’m gonna have the craziest house warming party ever. I’ll explain later. I got a good life, man,” he wrote.
The new home comes as 50 Cent struggles to unload a multi-million dollar estate in Connecticut while countering $24 million in lawsuits with a bankruptcy filing.
Meanwhile, TMZ reported that the rapper had asked the court’s permission to pay $72,000 in monthly expenses to keep up the lavish property.
Those costs include a mortgage, gardening, electricity, trash removal, Internet, cable, water and phone service.
