Hyderabad: The Telangana government will hold an all-party meeting regarding the “no detention” policy on Saturday.

The government is required to send its views on scrapping of the no detention policy to the HRD ministry.

In the Central Advisory Board for Education meeting held last month, all states had agreed that the no detention policy should be scrapped. But later, teachers and officials in the state had stated that it should be continued. With this, the government has decided to hold an all party meeting.
