Moto X Force: Specifications, pricing, images leaked

The smartphone is expected to be rolled out in December

Motorola is working on a rugged yet a chic looking smartphone, Moto X Force. Much before its launch, plenty of information about the smartphone has been tipped.

Reports online suggest that the brawny Moto X Force sports a high-resolution display and a hardware with a supposedly ‘shatterproof’ build. It will feature a 5.4-inch qHD display with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels.

The X Force will be powered by a 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor along with 3GB of RAM and 32-64GB of internal memory, which would be expandable using a microSD card. It will sport a 21MP primary camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. Reports also suggest that X Force will be a battery-heavy smartphone with one of 3760mAh capacity. Completing the rugged package, the smartphone is also expected to be water resistant with an underwater time of 30 minutes at a depth of 1 meter.

On the design front of the smartphone, instead of the traditional plastic housing that most Motorola smartphones sport, the X Force will feature a more buoyant metal frame around the phone.

According to a leak by upleaks, the Moto X Force will be priced at around $600, which would approximately be Rs 40,000 in the Indian market. Regarding the availability, the smartphone is expected to be rolled out in December.
