1,000 special KSRTC buses for festival

Special bus arrangements have been made from Bengaluru to Dharmasthala, Kukke Subramanya etc

BENGALURU: The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) will run 1,000 special buses on September 15 and 16 to clear the Gowri-Ganesha festival rush.

Special bus arrangements have been made from Bengaluru to Dharmasthala, Kukke Subramanya, Shivamogga, Hassan, Mangaluru, Kundapura, Sringeri, Horanadu, Davanagere, Hubballi-Dharwad, Belagavi, Vijayapura, Gokarna, Sirsi, Karwar, Raichur, Kalaburagi, Ballari, Koppal, Yadagir, Bidar and Tirupathi.

Buses to Mysuru, Hunsur, Periyapatna, Virajpet, Kushalnagar, Madikeri and other routes will depart from Mysuru Road Satellite bus station.

Additional bus services have been made following the demand from the commuters from Vijayanagar, J.P. Nagar, Jayanagar 4th Block and 9th Block, Jalahalli cross, Navarang, Malleswaram 18th cross, Kengeri Satellite Town and other places towards Shivamogga, Davangere, Tirupathi, Mangaluru, Kundapura, Shringeri and other places.
