Suicides by farmers continued with three more ending their lives due to crop loss

Hyderabad: A weaver in IT minister K.T. Rama Rao’s Sircilla constituency died on Sunday. Meanwhile, suicides by farmers continued with three more ending their lives due to crop loss.
B. Ramesh, 23, of Chillapur in Nalgonda district ended his life by hanging himself from a tree. He took the extreme step after the recent dry spell destroyed his crop and led to mounting debts.
Also in Nalgonda, 55-year-old farmer J. Maisayya of Redlarepaka of Veligonda mandal hanged himself to death. Sources said he was unable to clear his debts. K. Prabhakar Reddy, 40, of Dantanpalle village of Utnur mandal in Adilabad district committed suicide due to mounting debts.
That apart, two weavers in IT Minister K.T. Rama Rao’s constituency Siricilla died on Sunday as one committed suicide and another died of a heart attack. Weaver Yadagiri, 60, was denied pension under the TRS government’s Aasara scheme after receiving pension for the last three months. Gripped by fear, Yadagiri suffered a massive heart attack leading to his death on the spot.
