Microsoft forcing Windows 10 update to PCs without permission

The download fills up almost 6GB of the user’s hard drive space without asking

Microsoft recently launched their latest operating system, the Windows 10, and is reportedly forcing users to download the setup files without their permission. Windows 10 has been automatically force downloading on several PCs around the world and ready to be installed. The setup files amounting to a whopping 6GB have been silently downloading in the background, when the user is connected to the internet.

While the download is not automatically installing the new operating system to the PC, it still takes up a huge amount of unwanted space if the user does not want to download the new OS. The operating system will keep prompting you to update Windows every time you reboot your system, and this can be very annoying.

Though the update is completely free for those who are on the Windows 7 and Windows 8 platform, the user needs to register for a free update. However, the even if the user is not registered; Microsoft has been pushing the update to the PC, which occupies the huge space of the user. The update is not a pleasant welcome, particularly for those who have hybrid computers, especially with 32GB of storage.

Users have been complaining that even though they did not opt for the update, the operating system has been downloading it silently in the background, exhausting their expensive data plans.
