Friday releases: hit or miss?

Clash of four releases this week at the box office

Mumbai: Friday fever is on and this week Bollywood has four films in store for the moviegoers. After the last week's smashing hit 'Hero', director Nikhil Advani is all set for his next rom com 'Katti Batti' starring Imran Khan and Kangana Ranaut. While Kangana is currently ruling the box office with impeccable acting in her last ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’, Imran is looking out for one hit in his kitty to pace up his filmy career. ‘Katti Batti’ looks promising since the trailer got a thunderous response and their chemistry looks incredible.

Second release is 'MSG-2 The Messenger' that is directed by Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh and Jeetu Arora. The film is a sequel to the 2015 film 'MSG: The Messenger'. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh will also star in the film. The revolves around the reformation of tribes from their alienated lives in jungles to the mainstream social life. The first instalment did a fair business at the box office. We assume a better VFX and high octane actions in the second one.

Along with these two mega releases, 'Meeruthiya gangsters' and 'Hum Sab Ullu Hai' are also releasing this week. 'Meeruthiya Gangsters' is inspired by the high number of extortion cases in the city of Meerut. The film is based from the perspective of six youths who turn kidnappers. The film is directed by Zeishan Quadri. 'Hum Sab Ullu Hai' is a small budget comedy directed by T. Manwani Anand which revolves around with a lot of characters. The movie is featured with the scenes like road blocks, roller coaster ride, misunderstandings, confusion all apart lot of laughter.
