There are some really great things about Apple devices that are unmatchable, however, some of its stock iOS apps are not among its best features. The iOS apps like stocks, tips and maps are one of the least used ones by most iPhone users, but since Apple does not allow a user to delete these apps, users are forced to put them all together in a folder and dump them in one corner of their phones.

Since you have dumped most of the pre-loaded apps in a folder, here is a list of apps you can use alternatively.

Google Maps

It's unbelievable how it’s been so long and Apple is still not paying attention to its poorly navigated maps. And the best alternative to those would definitely be Google maps, they are much more accurate and user-friendly

Sunrise Calendar

Although there is nothing bad about the pre-loaded calendar app on iOS, but there is nothing too great about it either. Sunrise calendar, however, is much more methodical

Dark Sky

Apple’s stock weather app is quite ordinary. The Dark sky app, on the other hand, gives a lot more detailed weather forecast, helping you anticipated the day better

Evernote

Apple Notes is just like writing on a yellow legal pad, at most you can just forward the text to your mail or inbox. Evernote is a more prompt third-party app for the same purpose, which makes reminders and tracking of notes much simpler

Stock tracker

Better than the pre-loaded iOS app, this stock tracker, is a lot more comprehensive and streams live quotes and monitors portfolios in real-time.
