Car kills BWSSB man at work

He was immediately shifted to NIMHANS hospital where he was declared brought dead

Bengaluru:A 29-year-old contract labourer working with the Bangalore Water Supply & Sewerage Board died while he was working on Richmond Road when a car rammed onto the barricade which in turn crushed him to death. The deceased, B Ramu, hailed from Andhra Pradesh, and was a resident of KR Puram. Rizwan Pasha, 23, a salesman, was trying to overtake another car and suddenly noticed the barricades. He could not control his car which rammed into the barricades which hit Ramu. he was immediately shifted to NIMHANS hospital where he was declared brought dead. A case of accidental death due to negligent and rash driving has been registered.
