HyderabadIn a major development, AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has kept in abeyance the transfer of seven deputy collectors that were cleared by Deputy Chief Minister  K.E. Krishnamurthy.

Mr Naidu asked Mr Krishnamurthy to send all the files related to the transfers to him for verification. Mr Krishnamurthy had transferred the deputy collectors and issued orders on Tuesday. Some TD legislators complained to the CM that the deputy collectors had been transferred without their knowledge.

Sources  close to the Deputy CM said that the deputy collectors who had spent a long time in their posts had been transferred as per the rules. This comes on top of the CM recently admonishing Mr Krishnamurthy for his statements on land acquisition for the capital city of Amaravati.
