Three Telangana farmers end life

Three of them committed suicide while one died of a heart attack

Hyderabad: Four farmers’ deaths were recorded in Karimnagar, Nizamabad, Mahbubnagar and Nalgonda districts of Telangana on the eve of Vinayaka Chaturthi on Wednesday. Three of them committed suicide while one died of a heart attack.

I. Rajayya, 36, of Lingapur village in Sankarapatnam mandal of Karimnagar district committed suicide after crops on his two-acre farmland failed due to lack of rains. P. Narsayya, 65, of Insannagar village in Domakonda mandal of Nizamabad district, hanged himself from a tree in his farmland due to mounting debts.

In Sangaipalli village of Daultabad mandal in Mahbubnagar district, Narsimhulu Naik, 32,  hanged himself in his house due to failed crops.

In Swamulavarilingotam village of Nampally mandal in Nalgonda district, a 45-year-old farmer died of heart attack. His relatives said that he had been worried about his huge debts and failed crop this year.
