Saif Ali Khan says he has always loved and respected Salman Khan

 

Mumbai: Saif Ali Khan recently opened about his differences with Bollywood’s bhai, Salman Khan. The ‘Phantom’ star went on to reveal how the two actors drifted apart after having worked together in many films together in the past.

 

In a recent interview, when asked if Kareen Kapoor was the reason behind Salman inviting him to the screening of 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan', he replied saying that he hoped that was not the case. He also brushed off those claims stating that he knew Salman well enough and was certain that he would not do anything ‘just for the sake of it’.

 

Saif added that he has known Salman longer than he has known his wife, Kareena and he hopes that their equation is not dependant on her.

 

Saif further said he always loved and respected Salman and the two have not spoken for the longest time so, he was really happy to hear from him.

 

Kareena Kapoor Khan played Salman’s love interest in the blockbuster hit that was directed by Kabir Khan. The film went on to collect over 300 crore at the worldwide box office.
