Google Fortunetelling will hit you hard!

Google has created a new web app called the Google Fortunetelling and it’s unmissable. It invites web users to Google-in whatever they wish to know about their future. And mostly that’s what people do expecting some sort of trick or easter egg from Google.

And Google in fact does trick its audience, and it bait and switch to a hard-hitting issue. When you type in, this is what the search shows.

When you click on ‘Predict my fortune’, Google redirects user to a page, which is aimed at raising awareness on the ongoing migrant crisis in Europe. It urges people to spread the word and if possible, some money to help the millions of migrants. It also shares a lot of videos and images with regards to the issue.

However, for a while now, the link to the web page has stopped responding and it seems to have been faced by a phishing attack.
