Hyderabad: The Niloufer Children’s Hospital at Lakdikapul went without power for six hours on Saturday as supply failed due to snags in the transformer on the hospital premises. The power went off at 7 am. Patients in the general ward faced hardships as only one fan was working there, the hospital administration said.

A senior doctor said, “The officials from the hospital and electricity department swung into action, but it took some time to restore power supply.”
