‘Orange is the New Black’ fame Ruby Rose joins ‘Resident Evil: The Final Chapter’

The actress joins Milla Jovovich, who is once again back as Alice

After charming audiences with her stellar performance in the Netflix series ‘Orange is the New Black’, Actress Ruby Rose has landed a role in the upcoming ‘Resident Evil: The Final Chapter’.

The 29-year-old star is currently filming her role in the sixth and final instalment of the franchise in South Africa. Her character is called Abigail, but no other information about her role has been released yet.

She joins Milla Jovovich, who is once again back as Alice.

Ali Larter is returning as Claire Redfield and Wentworth Miller will be reprising his role as her on-screen brother, Chris.

Jovovich’s husband Paul WS Anderson is also back in the director’s chair using his own movie script, which picks up from where the events of 2012’s ‘Resident Evil: Retribution’ left off.

The Resident Evil franchise has been one of the most successful game-to-movie adaptations ever, grossing more than USD 915 million worldwide.
