Reshoots and lots of fun
Ekta asked the team to re-shoot the first two episodes
Ekta Kapoor is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that her newest TV show — Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan on Star Plus — is a hit. The production house had shot four episodes of the show, but when Ekta viewed them, she felt something was missing.
Perfectionist that she is, Ekta asked the team to re-shoot the first two episodes, entirely. Despite the fact that the show’s telecast date of September 28 was looming closer, Ekta decided to take a risk and redo the episodes rather than compromising on their quality.
A source close to Ekta told us, “Ekta likes work to be done perfectly. As a producer, she goes out of her way to fulfill all the demands of her directors and actors, but in return she expects the same pattern of work that she has envisioned. During the Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan shoot, Ekta was present and very involved in ensuring that everything goes well. But she was not very convinced once she saw the final product. She wanted some of the episodes to be re-shot and asked the team to do so.”
We spotted Remo D’souza zooming around on a Free Go on the sets of his show Dance Plus. Remo apparently had it specially ordered from the US. People on the sets are having a tough time keeping up with Remo as he zooms about on his latest toy! Remo, however, claims that being on the gadget helps him think better and quicker. A case of thinking on his feet, err, on his Free Go?
Pop singer Alisha Chinai isn’t much in the limelight these days, but she was recently spotted on the sets of Indian Idol. Alisha was shooting for a special episode called Jashan e Idol and was part of a jury comprising Farah Khan, Anu Malik, Udit Narayan and Kailash Kher. The episode was shot on the completion of 10 years of Idol. Alisha performed her hit number Made In India while Idol’s original host Mini Mathur, returned to compere the episode with Hussain Kuwajerwala.
