After getting accolades for his act in Vanna Jigina, Vijay Vasanth, who knows his strengths and weaknesses, is choosing only films that suit his stature — the recent one being Achchamindri. He is teaming up with Raja Pandi once again after their combo hit Ennamo Nadakkudhu. Giving him company is Srushti Dange.
Talking about the film, Vijay Vasanth says, “I play a local low-class boy in the film, which is based on real life incidents. There’s a huge message in the film for all. Pandi has made the screenplay alluringly.” Srushti appears as a MBA student who champions the cause of education for all.
Dr Bharat Reddy who was seen as a cop in films like Unnaipol Oruvan and Payanam has once again donned the khaki for this film. “I didn’t want to repeat cop roles, but I was impressed with the script and hence took it up,” he says. Samudhrakani has also been roped in to play a key character while Premgi Amaren composes the music.
