Defected MLAs find peace in last rows

Hyderabad: MLAs who had left their parties and joined the TRS, are opting for vacant seats in the last rows in the Assembly. Speaker S. Madhusudhana Chary had allotted them seats along with their parent party’s members. The disqualification petitions of these MLAs are pending with the Speaker for months.
The MLAs from Congress are D.S. Redya Naik, K. Yadaiah, K. Kanakaiah and G. Vittal Reddy. Talasani Srinivas Yadav, who defected from the TD, is sitting on the Treasury benches as a minister, though he continues to be listed as a TD member by the Speaker’s office.
The other TD legislators who defected to the TRS and are now opting for vacant seats include Teegala Krishna Reddy, Ch. Dharma Reddy, Manchireddy Kishan Reddy and M. Krishna Rao. They are accompanied by two YSRC legislators, M. Chandu Lal and T. Venkateswarulu.
