Youth held for sexually abusing dog in Maharashtra

A case under section 377 (unnatural offences) of IPC was registered, says police

Mumbai: A 19-year-old youth was arrested for allegedly sexually abusing a dog, police said on Saturday.

The youth, who worked as a watchman inside a residential complex in Lokpuram area, sexually abused a dog on Friday, following which a complaint was by lodged by a animal activists organisation 'PAL', K G Gavit, Senior Police Inspector of Vartak Nagar police station said.

He was held Friday itself and a case under section 377 (unnatural offences) of IPC was registered in this connection, he added.
