3 dead, 2 hurt in Nalgonda mishap

Hyderabad: Three persons travelling from Visakhapatnam to the city died when their car rammed into a divider and fell off a culvert near Munagala in Nalgonda district.
 
The victims have been identified as B. Venkata Sri Harsha Reddy, V. Manjunatha and Sheikh Mobin. They were among a group of 12 people who were driving back home in the city after attending the tenth day ceremony at the house of a friend in Visakhapatnam.
 
 “When they reached the outskirts of Madhavaram village, Harsha Reddy who was driving the car lost control and rammed into the divider and the vehicle fell off the culvert.” said Kodada rural inspector P. Madhusudhan Reddy. All the three died on the spot
 
Two others were injured: Laxma Reddy has regained conscious while Ramya is stated to be in a coma.
 
While Harsha Reddy and Mobin belong to Malakpet, Hyderabad, Manjunatha belongs to Hanamkonda in Warangal district and was doing his BTech II in a city-based college.
 
According to government records, the car that met with the accident ,TS 09 EC 1900 , was registered in the name of Budda Reddy Himabindu.
