4 medical colleges yet to submit documents to panel

Justice James told DC that the four colleges are Karuna Medical College; Palakkad, KMCT Medical College; Kozhokide; Kannur Medical College and SUT Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram.
Thiruvananthapuram: Four medical colleges are yet to submit their documents to the admission supervisory committee headed by Justice J.M. James even while the committee began to look into the admission process in self-financing medical colleges on Friday.
 
Justice James  told DC that the four medical colleges are Karuna Medical College, Palakkad, KMCT Medical College, Kozhokide, Kannur Medical College and SUT Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram.
 
The committee will examine the documents of 13 self- financing colleges on Saturday, except MES Medical College, Perinthalamanna,  as per the directive of the High Court.  There were allegations that many of the medical colleges had violated the admission norms.
 
The documents of the MES Medical College, Perinthalamanna,   will be re-examined  on Monday.
 
The committee has fixed a time schedule for  Al Azhar Medical College and Malabar Medical College which got interim sanction   from the High Court which had cancelled the decision of the Medical Council of India.
 
The admissions will get invalidated if the KUHS does  not register the students before September 30, the deadline fixed by the Medical Council of India  for filling MBBS seats.
