Five ministries are ‘very good’
This survey covered 802 rural and urban wards
Hyderabad: The performance of all but five ministries in AP has been rated below 60 per cent, according to a state survey.
The AP Planning department conducted the district-wise survey in the period between April and June on the performance of departments and also on people’s expectations, problem areas and their priorities.
This survey covered 802 rural and urban wards to gauge the citizens’ perception on the performance of the government. About 18,000 stakeholders were interviewed for the survey. The ranks were given to the departments based on their performance,.
If the ministries scored 60 per cent and above, they were rated very good, and good if rated below that mark.
Only five schemes were rated very good — interest-free loan scheme, quality of food for schoolchildren, quality of food for anganwadis and place for garbage disposal.
